A Singular Location
for Whole-Body Wellness
Our Mission
Marigold is a community that feels like home and creates a nurturing environment to serve, encourage and protect our people as they grow.
Imagine a place where the front porch feels just like grandma’s. The same place you used to sit and talk and snap green beans before a comforting, nutritious meal.
Everywhere your eyes rest exudes comfort and coziness and the feeling that you are cared for. A scent of fresh flowers and home-cooked food fills the air.
When you walk in, it feels like home. Not just coming home to rest, but coming home to yourself. To what really matters to you and always has. A space to nurture your body, mind and soul.
That place is Marigold.
A Home Away From Home
Located in the picturesque, Mayberry-like small town of Sharon Center, Marigold Wellness Collective is where healing and community meet.
Inside the warm, welcoming, and inviting umbrella that is Marigold, you will find functional medicine care, chiropractic care, nutritious food, a holistic salon and spa, as well as an epsom salt float center and infrared sauna + cold plunge experience. We even provide retail therapy in our charming gift boutique.
Tried and true, simple and pure, that is the way of healing here. Our team of talented service providers will feel more like family because nurture is our nature.

Marigold Team
Melissa Farnsworth, Owner
I’m Melissa, the Owner of Marigold Wellness Collective. I believe life is all about relationships and creating a safe place for people to be heard and healed—that is what Marigold is to me.
P.S. If you look up the definition of romantic in the dictionary, you will see a picture of my face—I’m a hopeless romantic and my high school sweetheart (who is now my husband, Tim), is my favorite love story.
Casey Wright, VP of Operations
I’m Casey, a proud wife and mom of four. I am a movie buff, never forget a face (like seriously I can recognize an adult from a baby picture), and I love picking thoughtful gifts.
According to Melissa, “In a Marigold full of nurturers, she's the mostest. Everyone needs a friend like Casey.”
P.S. I often speak in movie and music quotes.
“Goldies”
Our Front Desk “Goldies” make Marigold shine. They are our part-time, seasonal, and full-time support staff.
We’re so proud of our Goldies, who range in age from high schools students to their parents! We love that mother-daughter pairs have chosen to work here as a team—and that many of our now college-aged Goldies met here and later became roommates in school.

People often engage in float therapy for various reasons, including relaxation, stress reduction, pain relief, and mental clarity.
The sensory deprivation aspect of float therapy is believed to promote a meditative state and enhance self-awareness.
During a float session, individuals typically wear earplugs to block out external sounds, and they may choose to float in complete darkness or with a soft light.
-
A float practice is the routine of regularly coming home to yourself to refocus, relax and rejuvenate in our Marigold epsom salt float pools.
And how do you get better at anything? With practice! We all have rhythms in our lives. “Practices” that we say yes to over and over again. We are creatures of habit.
By choosing floating, you are choosing yourself.

First, epsom salt is full of magnesium. We all need more magnesium.
Magnesium is a mineral that helps aid in relaxation, lowering blood pressure, anxiety, depression, inflammation, chronic pain, joint pain, muscle recovery and improving sleep.
In short, magnesium calms and restores your nervous system.
Float therapy is one of the quickest ways to work toward a calm mind and body.
In the beginning, people often float once or twice a week and gradually move toward a once a month session. However, there is no such thing as too much of a good thing with floating.
You can do it as often as your body needs, especially during times of high stress or high physical demand.
The epsom salt from floating will actually clarify your hair and exfoliate your skin! Win, win!
Throw some of our sea salt spray (found in our get ready area) in your hair after your float for that “beachy” look! As for your skin, magnesium is naturally antimicrobial and antibacterial so it can help with skin irritation, including psoriasis and eczema.

Anybody can float! Just consider a few factors if you fall under one of the below categories:
Pregnant individuals: Our pregnant friends just might be the ones that love floating the most. Of course, always check with your doctor first, but floating can be an excellent way to give your body a break from housing that mini-person.
Kids: They sure can! With a parent present in the room, kiddos can gain all the benefits of floating, too.
Elderly or Injured: A float may be just the thing to refresh your body. We just ask that you use the grab bars when entering and exiting the float pool to avoid slipping.
Note: Our float pools are wheelchair accessible.
-
Your birthday suit! This ensures, not only, that your float experience is optimal but that our float pools stay free and clear from any bacteria or dyes that can enter our pools via swimsuits or clothing.
-
First, you know how the Dead Sea is, well, dead, like nothing can live in it? That is because there is soooo much salt. The same goes for our float pools. The overabundance of epsom salt makes it nearly impossible for bacteria to survive. On top of that, the water is filtered through a two micron filter for 20 minutes between floats. We also use an environmentally safe cleaning product to sanitize and disinfect all the float room surfaces after each person.
